General Description

Recovered from binding of unidentified 1481 incunabulum owned by seminary library in Włocławek. The Polish piece 'O nadrozszy kwiatku' ['O dearest flower'] is copied on recto; the verso contains Polish and German words and pen trials. Of Polish origin; perhaps copied in Kujawy region (AMP). Subsequently acquired by the music historian and journalist Aleksander Poliński (1845-1916); passed to Biblioteka Narodowa, Warsaw, after Poliński's death. Lost or destroyed c. 1944.

1 fragmentary parchment folio, 55 x 215, recovered from binding of unidentified 1481 incunabulum. Polish piece "O nadrozszy kwiatku" ["O dearest flower"] copied on recto; verso contains Polish and German words and pen trials. No initials or decoration.

Last quarter of 15th century (AMP). Of Polish origin; perhaps copied in Kujawy region (AMP). Later used in binding of incunabulum owned by seminary library in Włocławek. Subsequently acquired by the music historian and journalist Aleksander Poliński (1845-1916); passed to Biblioteka Narodowa, Warsaw, after Poliński's death. Lost or destroyed ca. 1944.
