Original covers of tan leather over heavy wooden boards, blind stamped with line borders, floral motifs, and double eagle centerpiece; metal clasps. Original index on ff. II'-III' lists pieces in order of appearance. Monophonic contents copied in square chant notation; polyphony in white mensural notation. Copied by a single scribe. Staff height 25. Decorative initials, some titles, and some rubrics in red paint; edges of folios painted green. Watermark: fleur-de-lis in circle, surmounted by crown (not in Briquet, but see Briquet #7111 for general pattern).
