Original covers of dark brown leather over wooden boards, in poor condition. Original index on ff. II-II' lists pieces in order of original numbers (= order of appearance, except that music for #27 copied at end of partbook instead of in proper sequence). Copied by a single scribe. Staff height 15. Black inked initials, most in plain block style; index has red inked borders. Watermark somewhat resembles Briquet #1242 (only portions visible).
