Copied by Michael Echamer, employed as singer at chapel of August, Elector of Saxony (1526-86) (inscription on f. 1'). Copied in Dresden. Presumably presented to Emperor Rudolf II (r. 1576-1612).

74 paper folios, 547 x 400. Modern ink foliation, 1-74. Original covers of dark red leather over pasteboard, gold stamped front and back with identical floral borders and decorative designs. No index. Copied by Michael Echamer, employed as singer at chapel of August, Elector of Saxony (1526-86) (inscription on f. 1'). Staff height 30. Red and black inked initials, in plain block and calligraphic styles; some text and titles in red. Dedicatory poem to Emperor Rudolf II on f. 1'. Watermark: unidentified monogram within oval border decorated with fleurs-de-lis at corners.

1576-86. Copied in Dresden. Presumably presented to Emperor Rudolf II (r. 1576-1612).
