The manuscript was re-acquired by D-Z from Peter Hecht in 2017 after it had been "borrowed" by Otto Kade, passing then through several hands (see above). It is now D-Z ms Mus. 175.

General Description
General Description
A Discantus partbook from a set originally of four or five volumes. Copied by Jodocus Schalreuter (c. 1486-1550), who also wrote most of ZwiR 73 (EldH). Probably copied in Wittenberg (EldH). Perhaps owned in late 19th century by Otto Kade. Owned in early 20th century by E. Liphart-Rathzhoff of Gräfelfing; presented by Rathzhoff to Dr. E. Hecht-Schneider in 1930 (inscription inside front cover). Bequeathed to Hecht-Schneider's son, Peter Hecht, of Utrecht. The manuscript was acquired by D-Z in 2017.
