General Description

Composite MS of several originally separate fascicles probably bound together in late 16th or early 17th century. Copied by one main scribe and several additional scribes. Produced in Toledo, for use by cathedral choir.

i + 125 parchment folios, 410 x 280. Composite of several originally separate fascicles probably bound together in late 16th or early 17th century. No original foliation; modern pencil foliation, 1-89; 100-134; 125 [sic] (some folios not numbered, but correctly counted by enumeration; "90-99" omitted, apparently by error). Original covers of brown leather over wooden boards, with metal bosses and edges. Incomplete index added by later hand on f. 1. Copied by one main scribe and several additional scribes. A few inked calligraphic initials; no other decoration.

Late 16th century. Copied in Toledo, for use by cathedral choir.
