General Description

Copied by a single scribe. Probably copied in Munich (GottH); later sent to Stuttgart for use by court chapel of Christoph, Duke of Württemberg (1515-68), or his successor Ludwig (1554-93). Manuscript listed in 1589 inventory of items owned by ducal chapel. Originally 122 folios.

115 paper folios of an original 122 or more, 610 x 450. New ff. 9, 19, and 83 now fragmentary. Modern foliation, 5-121 (ff. 1-4, 82, 93, and undetermined number of folios at end now missing). Original covers of tooled leather over pasteboard. No index remains. Copied by a single scribe. Large red inked initials, in plain block style.

Ca. 1562-7 (GottH). Probably copied in Munich (GottH); later sent to Stuttgart for use by court chapel of Christoph, Duke of Württemberg (1515-68), or his successor Ludwig (1554-93). Manuscript listed in 1589 inventory of items owned by ducal chapel.
