Composite of two unrelated manuscripts bound together c. 1568; first manuscript contains Masses, second contains motets. Masses probably copied by Ludwig Daser (BenteNW); motets probably copied by Johann Chamerhueber (GottH). Masses probably copied in Munich, then sent to Stuttgart for use by court chapel of Christoph, Duke of Württemberg (1515-68). Motets probably copied in Stuttgart, perhaps from earlier manuscript acquired from court of Georg Friedrich, Margrave of Ansbach-Brandenburg (1543-1603). Originally 140 folios.
