Initiales et marges ornées or et coul., titres rubriqués. Reliure ancienne (dos refait) cuir estampé, fermoirs métal. Au bas des ff. 2v et 3, un tampon encré rouge porte Bibliothèque Nationale autour des initiales RF.

The manuscript is elegantly copied in a single hand, with red titles and florally ornamented initials and borders. It contains nine treatises by Tinctoris; the motet "Virgo dei" is copied on the first two folios, and the 22 other brief polyphonic works are illustrations in Tinctoris' De Arte Contrapuncti, the eighth treatise in this collection.
