General Description

Royal letters patent of Richard II (general pardon to William of Wykeham), dated July 31, 1377, on recto. Verso has an Agnus Dei, copied later (by Harry Fenys?). Deposited c. 1386 in New College Archives, Oxford, by William of Wykeham, Bishop of Winchester and founder of New College.
