General Description

Scribal concordance with NYorkH 871 (Charles Manns). Copied at the Escorial (Charles Manns), possibly by Fray Pedro de Estremera. Inventoried at the collegial church of San Pedro, Lerma, in 1632 (KirkChur p.220). Once owned by Federico Olmeda de San José (1865-1909) of Burgos, a Spanish organist, historian, and bibliophile; acquired by The Hispanic Society c. 1910 at Hiersemann Antiquariat sale of items from Olmeda's library.

107 paper folios, 590 x 410. Original foliation, irregular. Original covers of leather on boards, tooled in gold with two eagles and other ornamental designs. Original index. Scribal concordance with NYorkH 871 (Charles Manns). Staff height 28. Some text in red ink.

Early 17th century. Copied at the Escorial (Charles Manns). Once owned by Federico Olmeda de San José (1865-1909) of Burgos, a Spanish organist, historian, and bibliophile; acquired by The Hispanic Society ca. 1910 at Hiersemann Antiquariat sale of items from Olmeda's library.
