General Description

Scribal concordances with MontsM 750, NYorkH 278, and NYorkH 870 (Charles Manns). Manuscript copied at the Escorial (Charles Manns), possibly by Fray Pedro de Estremera, in 1604 (fol. 50v - "Año Dei 1604"). Owned by the collegiate church of San Pedro in Lerma (StevnsnSCM). Later acquired by Federico Olmeda de San José (1865-1909) of Burgos, a Spanish organist, historian, and bibliophile. Purchased by The Hispanic Society c. 1910 at Hiersemann Antiquariat sale of items from Olmeda's library.
