General Description

A Bassus partbook containing the prints RISM 1509/1 and 1504/1. The manuscript folio contains the Sanctus of Obrecht's Missa Si dedero, with incipit 'Sanctus' only. Copied by Heinrich Glareanus. Presumably copied in Basel or Freiburg im Breisgau. Originally owned by the humanist and theorist Heinrich Glareanus (1488-1563). Subsequent history same as for MunU 239.

2 paper partbooks (TB), each containing the prints RISM 1509/1 and 1504/1; 1 paper folio of manuscript music, 170 x 228, pasted inside front cover of each book. Manuscript folios contain T and B for Sanctus of Obrecht's Missa Si dedero (T without text, B with incipit "Sanctus" only). Copied by Heinrich Glareanus. One plain inked initial.

First half of 16th century. Presumably copied in Basel or Freiburg im Breisgau. Originally owned by the humanist and theorist Heinrich Glareanus (1488-1563). Subsequent history same as for MunU 239.
