Leaf 1 is text only, 2r-v blank with some pen-trials (2v has some music offset; 3 is a gauzed leaf with 5 lines of music+text on the recto, rotated 90° cropped on the RH (i.e. upper) edge. The beginning of this piece seems to be on a facing stub, numbered 3 bis (even though it precedes 3), with only one line of music. The text appears to begin 'mater nostri te de
4r and 5v are blank modern leaves with no music. 4v and 5r have pasted down fragments which show partially legible fragmentary music offsets. the largest fragment on 5r is an offset from f.6, as are all the three fragments on 4v. The lower two fragments appear to be conjunct but they are not: the bottom right one is mounted upside down. The remaining two fragments are two small to identify their offset origins, though the smaller triangular one on 5r does not appear to be an offset of f.6
Leaf 6 is the most complete of all the leaves, though heavily damaged and gauzed, with 8 lines of music with text underlay in upright format. The leaf appears to have been folded three times vertically at some time. The text is difficult to make out as much of it has been rubbed off. Legible words include: 'lonbard' [sic] 'dolente' 'desire' (r) and 'poy che me'... 'la mia vita' (v). The words to a second strophe are written on the verso at the end of a line of music.
Leaf 7 has text rotated 90° on the recto and 8 lines of music on the verso as on leaf 6 on the recto, but this leaf is cropped to about 5 cm width. No words are legible. Leaf 8 shows music only on the recto and this is an offset of 6v, so no new material.
Leaf 9 is text as for leaf 1
