General Description

Copied by a single scribe, probably 'P SL Gwalth(er),' whose name appears on f. 1; the same scribe also wrote WolfA A and part of MunBS 65 (RifRM). Blank folios: 23'-24, 41'-42, 63'-64, 86'-87, 113'-114, 137'-138, 159'-160, 179'. Possibly copied in Augsburg (BenteNW); copied in Munich (RifRM). Apparently intended for Cardinal Matthaeus Lang (Archbishop of Salzburg 1519-40), but probably never presented. In Schatzkammer of ducal court library in Munich by 16th century; holdings of ducal library formed foundation of present Bayerische Staatsbibliothek.

Maier (one original folio missing between new ff. 139/140; another folio missing between new ff. 161/162; "70" omitted; one folio following f. 118 excluded from enumeration, numbered "118a" by later hand).
