General Description

Probably copied by Ludwig Daser (BenteNW). Copied in Munich, for use by the Bavarian ducal court chapel of Wilhelm IV (1493-1550) or Albrecht V (1528-79). Kept in Hofkapelle library until end of 18th century, then transferred to ducal court library, whose holdings formed foundation of present Bayerische Staatsbibliothek.

Maier (most folios lack numbers, but all included in enumeration). Original numbering of fascicles, 1-12; modern numbering of cycles, II-XVIII (first cycle not numbered, but included in enumeration). Ff. 1, 41'-42, 48'-49, 66'-67, 73'-74, 84'-85, 99'-100, 107'-108, 116'-117, 123-124, 133'-134, 140'-141, 153-154, 166-167, and 175'-176' blank except for fascicle numbers and later inscriptions.
