Masses probably copied from print RISM J18, by a single scribe. Copied in Munich, for use by the court chapel of Albrecht V, Duke of Bavaria (1528-79).

120 paper folios, 562 x 430-5. Modern pencil foliation, 1-120, by J. J. Maier. Original covers of dark brown leather over boards, tooled in gold with ornamental designs. No index. Copied by a single scribe. Staff height 37. Red inked calligraphic initials on ff. 2'-3; initials on remaining folios also in calligraphic style, but printed in red ink. Main watermark is Briquet #1245; several folios at end have different mark (= Briquet #925). Masses probably copied from print RISM J18.

After 1561 (BenteNW). Copied in Munich, for use by the court chapel of Albrecht V, Duke of Bavaria (1528-79). Kept in Hofkapelle library until end of 18th century, then transferred to ducal court library, whose holdings formed foundation of present Bayerische Staatsbibliothek.
