General Description

An Altus partbook. Copied by several scribes. Copied in Mantua. Part of large collection of printed and manuscript music assembled and used by Gonzaga ducal chapel during 16th century; eventually housed in Church of Santa Barbara, completed in 1565. Further on Santa Barbara collection under MilC 12.

Last third of 16th century? Copied in Mantua. Part of large collection of printed and manuscript music assembled and used by Gonzaga ducal chapel during 16th century; eventually housed in Church of Santa Barbara, completed in 1565. Further on Santa Barbara collection under MilC 12.
