General Description

Composite of several unrelated fascicles later bound together, with a polyphonic setting of 'Hanc io lucem melior lapillus' (text honours Pope Julius II) on f. 175. The Bassus part has been copied again on f. 177' and f. 198', with additional text. Copied in Rome.

Modern pencil foliation, 1-204, on upper right rectos (replaces several systems of original foliation or pagination in various fascicles). Rebound in modern covers of cream-colored vellum over cardboard, gold stamped on spine with papal arms. Polyphonic setting of "Hanc io lucem melior lapillus" (text honors Pope Julius II) on f. 175; bassus copied again on f. 177' and f. 198', with additional text.
