Manuscript states that it was written by Conrad Mayr of the Benedictine convent at Zwiefalten in 1620. Illumination by Georg Haller, completed in 1629.

Wood covered with pressed leather (Stamp see HAEBLER 1, 458 f, No. la and X. Nr.X represents, according to Haebler, the monogram of the Zwiefalten monastery.) Remnants of leather straps.

Decorated initials (pen & ink). One full-page depiction of a column altar (pen and ink drawing), with Mary carrying the baby Jesus in the clouds, accompanied by two cherubs each. By first Magnificat St Gregory the Great and Guido of Arezzo with 'Guidonian Hand'
