General Description

A Processional with Troper from the monastery of the Grand-Saint-Bernard, with striking similarities with the two manuscripts I-AO17 and I-AO19 (which, given the geographical proximity of the two places, is not surprising). Contents: f. 1-56 Processional f. 56v-72 Troper (f. 64 addition to the Processional for the Circumcision copied by the main hand).

RISM Description

RISM B/IV 3: 15. Jh.; 74 Blätter Pergament, 220 x 155 mm. Moderne Foliierung von 1-74, sowie Reste einer älteren Foliierung. Je Seite 6 Vierliniensysteme mit römischer Quadratnotation mit teilweise mensuralen Elementen. -Einband: Holzdeckel mit Schweinslederüberzug, Reste von Schließen; Rücken fehlt.

Dieses aus dem Kloster des Großen Sankt Bernhard stammende und spätestens im Laufe des 15. Jahrhunderts von einer einzigen Hand geschriebene Prozessionar mit Tropar zeigt auffallende Ähnlichkeiten mit den beiden Handschriften I-AO17 und I-AO19, was bei der geographischen Nähe der beiden Orte nicht verwunderlich ist.

Inhalt: f. 1-56 Prozessionale; f. 56v-72 Tropar (f. 64 eine von der Haupthand geschriebene Ergänzung des Prozessionars für Circumcisio).

[Translation] 15th century. 74 parchment sheets, 220 x 155 mm. Modern foliation of 1-74, as well as remnants of an earlier foliation. 6 four-line systems per page with Roman square notation with some mensural elements. -Binding: wooden with pigskin leather cover, remnants of clasps, the spine is missing.

This manuscript originated from the monastery of the Grand-Saint-Bernard at the latest during the 15th century. It was copied by a single hand. It is a Processional with Troper and shows striking similarities with the two manuscripts I-AO17 and I-AO19, which, given the geographical proximity of the two places, is not surprising.
