Provenance
Contents Contains 8 compositions from 5 composers.
General Description

Three bundles of loose sheets containing various voice parts of eight compositions, with no particular order or structure. Although some pieces were copied as groups (the 2 Lohr settings are back to back on 3 successive groups of pages, and the 3 St John Passions & Scandello's Resurrection appear to have been similarly copied as a group), there is no attempt to bring together the parts of each composition, nor to organise the bundles like partbooks. Only three of the eight pieces they contain are complete.

Copied by Christoph Nostwitz, Christian Mauke, and others. The manuscript originated at the Löbau Latin school. It was at one time in the Löbau Ratsbibliothek, but was deposited at the library in Dresden in 1890.
