General Description

RISM Description

RISM B/IV 4: 13./14. Jh.; 179 Blätter Pergament + 2 Vorsatzblätter, 174 x 121 mm. Moderne Foliierung von f. 1-179. - Einband: Halbleder. Diese im ausgehenden 13. Jh. geschriebene Sammelhandschrift enthält Bibelkommentare, Gebete, Moraltraktate, Hymnen, unter anderem Musik steht nur auf f. 165v als Nachtrag des 14. Jh. (?) und auf f. 174v (Antonius-Hymnus). Der Schreiber des Ave Maria benutzte die für die Texte vorgesehenen Linien (ohne Schlüssel, Quadratnotation).

[Translation] 13th/14th century. 179 parchment leaves + 2 leaves flyleaves, 174 x 121 mm. Modern foliation of f. 1-179. - Binding: half-calf. This collection, copied at the end of the 13th Century, contains Bible commentaries, prayers, moral treatises, hymns, etc. Music is found only on f. 165v, added in the 14th Century (?), And on f. 174v (Antonius-hymn). The copyist of the Ave Maria used the lines provided for text (clefless, square notation).
