General Description

2 choirbooks bound together, but with sections interleaved (vol. I: ff. 1-53, 173-211, 213-234, 259-336; Vol. II: ff. 54-120, 122-172, 235-258, 337-373). Scribal concordance with BrusC 27088. 'Clemens non Papa' appears twice on a flyleaf and may be an autograph signature (KemCP). Copied in Beaumont (ClemensO). Once in the library of Federico Olmeda de San José (1865-1909). Following Olmeda's death, the manuscript was offered for sale by Hiersemann Antiquariat in Leipzig; it was purchased in 1912 by the Brussels Conservatoire.
