Original covers of crude brown leather, perhaps deerskin, secured by three leather thongs at spine. No index. Simple, crude, black inked calligraphic initials.

Late 16th century. Copied at Santa Eulalia, Guatemala. Purchased in 1969 from Lathrop C. Harper, New York.
