General Description

An Altus partbook. One scribe in Part I; Part II is in a different and later hand. Most pieces have text incipits or titles only. Of German origin. Early, perhaps original owner was Sebastian Diterich, whose name appears on new f. 1. According to an East Berlin library card file, the manuscript was once included with a copy of the Altus part of the print RISM D3015, under the call number 'Mus. ant. Pract. D. 240.'
