General Description

A Processional from the Cathedral of Padua; f. 1: 'In quaterno iste sunt omnia officia Procession et que sunt in ecclesia paduana per totum anni circulum'. Like I-Pc56: the two manuscripts are identical up to f. 58. They include dramatic procession Offices and processionals for the main feasts.

RISM B/IV 4: 14. Jh.; 58 Blätter Pergament + 2 Papier Vorsatz- und 1 Papier Nachstoßblätter (18. Jh.), 255 x 177 mm. Moderne Bleistiftfoliierung von f. 1-58; ältere Foliierung von f. 44-57 (moderne f. 44-57). Je Seite bis zu 7 Vierliniensysteme mit Quadratnotation und italienischer Mensuralnotation des frühen 14. Jh. - Einband: 18. Jh.; mit braunem Leder überzogene Holzdeckel, Blindpressung, Beschläge teilweise erhalten.

Diese Handschrift ist, wie I-Pc56, ein Prozessionar des frühen 14. Jh. aus der Kathedrale von Padua; f. 1 : "In iste quaterno sunt omnia officia et processiones que sunt in ecclesia paduana per totum circulum anni". Bis zu f. 58 sind beide Handschriften identisch. Sie enthalten dramatische Officien und Prozessionsgesänge für die Hauptfeste.

[Translation] 58 parchment folios + 2 paper front papers and 1 paper endpaper (18th century), 255 x 177 mm. Modern pencil foliation of f. 1-58; older foliation of f. 44-57 (modern f. 44-57). Seven four-line systems per page with square and Italian mensural notation of the early 14th Century - Cover: 18 Century, with brown leather covered wooden covers, blind tooling, fittings partially preserved.

Like I-Pc56, this manuscript is a Processional of the early 14th century from the Cathedral of Padua; f. 1: "In quaterno iste sunt omnia officia Procession et que sunt in ecclesia paduana per totum anni circulum". The two manuscripts are identical up to f.58. They include dramatic procession Offices and processionals for the main feasts.
