General Description

Used as the cover of notarial documents in the Archivio di Stato of Macerata (dated 1551) since the 16th century. From about 1922 it was in the possession of Prof. Francesco Egidi, but is currently lost. The only partially legible bifolio is 'very likely from a Northern Italian manuscript (Padua?) Of the late 14th century'. The text of No. 2 gives a terminus post quem in 1374.

Jh.; Doppelblätter Pergament, 234 x 295 mm (geöffnetes Doppelblätter), obere und untere Seite leicht, f. 1 außen stark beschnitten; ursprüngliches Format des Einzelblattes ca. 240 x 160 mm. Keine originale Foliierung sichtbar. Je Seite 10 rote Sechsliniensysteme mit italienischer Trecentonotation

Dieses Fragment ist im Archivio di Stato von Macerata als Deckblatt von Notariatsakten des 16. Jh. (dat. 1551) verwendet worden. Seit ungefähr 1922 befand es sich im Besitz von Prof. F. Egidi, ist jedoch gegenwärtig nicht auffindbar. Das teilweise nur mehr schwer lesbare Doppelblätter stammt mit "großer Wahrscheinlichkeit aus einer oberitalienischen Handschrift (Padua ?) des späten 14. Jh. Der Text von Nr. 2 ergibt als terminus post quem das Jahr 1374.
