General Description

A Lectionary from Ivrea, (see f. 1v 'O Beate Besse custos YVRE civitatis'). Contains from f. 1-96 and from 101 to the end '... Epistole Dominical et feriales....' On f. 97v-99r, are three two-voice compositions, which may have been copied later: On f. 99v is a textual addition.

RISM Description

RISM B/IV 4: 13./(14.?) Jh.; 150 Blätter Pergament +Vorsatzblatt, 303 x 230 mm. Teilweise moderne Bleistiftfoliierung (Vorsatzblatt mitgezählt). - Einband: 14. Jh. (?); mit dunkelbraunem Leder überzogene Holzdeckel.

Dieses aus Ivrea stammende Lektionar (vergleiche f. 1v "O Beate Besse custos civitatis Yvree") ist noch im 13. Jh. geschrieben worden. Es enthält von f. 1-96 und 101 bis Schluß ". . . epistole dominicales et feriales . . .".

Dazwischen stehen auf f. 97v-99r drei zweistimmige Kompositionen, die möglicherweise nachträglich eingetragen worden sind: je Seite 9 oder 11 (f. 99r: 4) Fünf- oder Dreiliniensysteme mit roter F-Linie. Incipitverzeichnis Nr. 1 zeigt schwarze Mensuralnot. (um 1300); Nr. 2 und 3 schwarz/rote Quadratnotation. Auf f. 99v steht ein Textnachtrag des 16. Jh.

INCIPITVERZEICHNIS

Die im IncV genannten Foliozahlen differieren von denen Schrades um +1, da in der jüngsten Bleistiftfol. der Handschrift das Vorsatzblatt mitgezählt ist.

This Lectionary, originating in Ivrea, (see f. 1v "O Beate Besse custos YVRE civitatis") was copied as late as the 13th Century. It contains from f. 1-96 and from 101 to the end "... Epistole Dominical et feriales...."

Between them, on f. 97v-99r, are three two-voice compositions, which may have been copied later: Each page has 9 or 11 (f. 99r: 4) Five-or three-line systems with red F-line. Incipit No. 1 is written in black mensural notation. (around 1300), Nos. 2 and 3 in black / red square notation. On f. 99v is a textual addition of the 16th century.
