Apparently a university student's notebook, containing a grammatical treatise, a calendar of holidays, and other non-musical material. Music is on ff. 1-13 and ff. 108-108'. Carelessly copied by at least five scribes, probably including Petrus Wilhelmi; all were probably students at University of Krakow (BrewerAN). Comments added at various places by 'Rambowski' (probably a teacher). Copied in Kraków. An early owner was 'Domini Johannis de Jaszona,' according to an inscription inside the front cover.

Miscellaneous non-musical material, with polyphony: 23? motets (see below)
(P. Wilhelmi)-2,* anon-21
*See ČernPW for a discussion of these attributions.
108 paper folios, 215 x 145. Modern pagination, 1-228 (with errors and omitted numbers) crossed out and replaced by foliation, 1-108; a second modern pagination, 2-216, appears on verso sides only. Restored original covers of thick brownish-yellow parchment. Apparently a university student's notebook, containing a grammatical treatise, a calendar of holidays, and other non-musical material. Music is on ff. 1-13 and ff. 108-108'. Black mensural notation.
Carelessly copied by a single scribe, probably a student at the University of Kraków; comments added at various places by "Rambowski" (probably a teacher). Decorative initials and some annotations in red ink. One watermark resembles Briquet #15604; another resembles Likhachev #589 (AMP). Due to the disorderly state of the music sections, numerous scribal errors and revisions, and missing clefs, it is sometimes difficult to determine which voices belong together and to obtain a precise count of pieces (several may be monophonic); count of polyphonic items given above is therefore approximate.
Ca. 1420-30 (AMP). Copied in Kraków. An early owner was "Domini Johannis de Jaszona," according to an inscription inside the front cover.
Vol 4
Contents: 21 motets, 1 textless piece = 22*
*Manuscript also contains several monophonic pieces, not included in above count.
Composers: (P. Wilhelmi)-3, anon-19
Physical: Music copied by at least five scribes, probably including Petrus Wilhelmi; all were probably students at University of Krakow (BrewerAN).
