RISM Description

RISM BIV/3: 15. Jh.; 113 Blätter Papier, 214 x 150 mm. - Einband: Pergament-Doppelblatt des 15. Jh.

Diese früher im Metropolitanarchiv Prag aufbewahrte Handschrift des frühen 15. Jh. (1413/14) enthält philosophische Traktate. Musik findet sich nur auf der vorderen und hinteren Innenseite des Pergament-Umschlages. Vordere Innenseite: 5 Systeme zu 3 und viermal 5 Linien; es handelt sich um ein vermutlich zweistimmiges Stück in schwarzer Mensuralnotation des 15. Jh. Hintere Innenseite: Federproben, einzelne Texte und Noten.

[Translation] 15th century, 113 paper leaves, 214 x 150 mm. - Binding: 15th-century parchment bifolio.

This early 15th century (1413/14) MS was previously in the Metropolitan Archive, Prague. It contains philosophical treatises. Music is found only on the front and rear inside of the parchment envelope. Front inside: 5 systems, of three to five lines, it appears to be two voices of a 15th-century piece in black mensural notation. Rear Interior: Scribbles, isolated texts and notes.
