General Description

A Cursus titulorum decretalium, with some polyphonic and fragmentary pieces on sheets of 15th-16th-century paper, glued on the front and back covers. The script suggests a South German origin (Salzburg?). The fourth piece is preceded by a monophonic Amen (no. 2a). No 2b is a sketch of a work for one or two voices.

RISM Description

RISM BIV/3: 13./16. Jh.; 88 Blätter Pergament, 160 x 110 mm. - Einband: 15. Jh. (?); mit weißem Leder überzogene Holzdeckel.

Die 1206 datierte Handschrift enthält einen Cursus titulorum decretalium. Im vorderen und hinteren Deckel ist je ein Papierblatt des 15./16. Jh. mit teilweise mehrstimmigen und zum Teil fragmentarischen Stücken eingeklebt. Die Schrift weist auf süddeutsche Herkunft (Salzburg ?) hin. Je Blatt 7 Fünfliniensysteme, von denen beim vorderen Blatt nur 4 beschrieben sind (Mensuralnotation). Vor Nr. 2a steht ein einstimmiges Amen. Auf Nr. 2b folgt ein textloser (ein- oder zweistimmige ?) Entwurf.

The manuscript, dated 1206, contains a Cursus titulorum decretalium. The front and back covers have sheets of 15th-16th-century paper glued on, with some polyphonic and fragmentary pieces.
