General Description

A Breviary with a flyleaf/lpastedown containing an ephemeral record of monophonic and polyphonic liturgical pieces glued to the inside back cover. The Script points to South German origin (Salzburg?).

RISM Description

RISM B IV/3: 13./16. Jh.; 153 Blätter Pergament, 150 x 110 mm. - Einband: Mitte 15. Jh., aus St. Peter; mit Leder überzogene Holzdeckel.

Brevier des 13. Jh., auf dessen hinterem, im 15./16. Jh. beschriebenen Papierdeckblatt (auf die Innenseite des Deckels geklebt) 7 Systeme zu 5 (einmal 6) Linien (rote F-Linie) stehen. Flüchtige Aufzeichnung von einstimmigen und mehrstimmigen liturgischen Stücken. Die Schrift weist auf süddeutsche Herkunft (Salzburg ?) hin.
