RISM Description

RISM B IV/3: 15.

[Translation] 15th century, 182 parchment leaves, 555 x 365 mm. Original foliation of f. I-CLXI; modern pencil foliation of f. 1-182 (older pagination from f. 162-168). For the rest, see Ms. A-GU9.

This manuscript, a gradual of the first half of the 15th Century, is in origin and contents broadly similar to Ms. A-GU9. The polyphonic pieces missing here (inventory No. 2 to 3 in Ms. A GU9) were believed to be excised and lost: the leaves originally followed f. 178.

Contents: f. 1-105 proper of time, f. 105-154 Proper of saints, f. 154-161 mass formulary, f. 161-175 antiphons and hymns; 175-182 ordinaries.
