General Description

This Gradual was produced at the cathedral of Cividale. The main corpus consists of f. 1-229 propers; f. 229-241 Kyriale f. 242ff. Lessons, sequences, and others; but from f. 354v there are later additions. As in I-CF57, there is information regarding voice distribution: chorus - chorarii. Nos. 1-4 are in score format.

RISM B/IV 4: 14. Jh.; 358 Blätter Pergament + 3 Pergament Vorsatzblätter, 355 x 248 mm. Originale Foliierung von f. I-CCXXX, anschließend moderne Bleistiftfoliierung von f. 231-358. Je Seite 9 rote Vier- oder Fünfliniensysteme mit Quadratnotation (f. 354v Mensuralnotation). - Einband: 15. Jh. (?); mit braunem Leder überzogene Holzdeckel, Beschläge.

Dieses aus dem Dom von Cividale stammende Graduale wurde im 14. Jh. (1. Hälfte?) geschrieben. Das Hauptcorpus umfaßt f. I-354r. Ab f. 354v folgen Nachträge aus dem 15. Jh. Wie in I-CF57 finden sich Besetzungsangaben: chorus - chorarii. Nrn. 1-4 in Partiturnotation auf 2 Systemen
