RISM Description

Antiphonal of 362 folios in total. Modern foliation. 12 red 4-line staves per page. 16th century binding, dark brown leather over wood boards.

RISM B/IV 4: 15. Jh.; 362 Blätter Pergament, 390 x 265 mm. Moderne Bleistiftfoliierung von f. 1-362. Je Seite meist 12 rote Vierliniensysteme mit schwarzer und roter Quadratnotation und vereinzelt schwarzer Mensuralnotation -Einband: 16. Jh. (?); mit dunkelbraunem Leder überzogene Holzdeckel, Beschläge.

Dieses aus dem Dom von Cividale stammende Antiphonar wurde vermutlich im frühen. 15. Jh. geschrieben (mit späteren Nachträgen). Die Fassungen der hier auf einem System notierten Nrn. 1 und 2 stimmen nur teilweise mit denen der älteren Handschriften überein (vergleiche hierzu Martinez, 130). Beachtenswert sind bei Nr. 2 die Bezeichnungen Chorus für die einstimmigen und Chorarii für die zweistimmigen Versus-Teile.
