Polyphonic turba sections copied on f. 1, and again on f. 1'. Main corpus copied by a single scribe; polyphony on ff. 1-1' apparently a slightly later addition by another scribe. Copied in Füssen, for use in local parish church (SchmiG). Acquired by Benedictine monastery in Füssen in 1579 (inscriptions on ff. 3-3'). Passed to princes of Ottingen-Wallerstein during 19th century; became part of large collection of manuscripts, copper engravings, coins, and other art objects. Collection once housed at former Franciscan monastery in Maihingen, but after the Second World War moved to Harburg Castle. In 1980 sold to the state of Bavaria, and since then in the collection of the University of Augsburg.
