Original index at beginning of each book groups pieces by number of voices; under each heading, pieces grouped alphabetically by first letter of text, with subgrouping under each letter by order of appearance. Copied by a single scribe. Staff height 11. Small inked initials in plain block style. Watermark: cross on shield, with initials "GM" (not in Briquet).
