General Description

'Liber cantionum ecclesiasticarum 4, 5 et 6 vocum'. Copied in Rein or vicinity, for use by Cistercian monastery there; apparently commissioned by Bartholomaeus von Grudenegg, monastery's abbot 1559-77 and mentioned in library catalogue 1568. Copied by a single scribe, except for 'Asperges me' added slightly later by a different hand on folios left blank at beginning.
