RISM Description

RISM B IV/3: 16.

This manuscript collection was written by several composers in the early 16th c. (f. 21v has the year 1506 written), and comes from the Franciscan convent of Mechlin. Musical entries are on f. 39r/v, f. 46v-51r; 1-5 black five-line systems per page (exceptionally four-line systems) with white, inaccurate partly mensural notation, and square notation on f. 50r.
