General Description

Copied by one main scribe and seven additional scribes (see MME XIV): compiled in a series of successive phases. Of Spanish origin; copied for use at the court of Ferdinand the Catholic, King of Aragon (1452-1516). Some additions made after death of Ferdinand. Final fascicle (ff.293-304) on different paper (& in different ink), possibly originated in chapel of Juana 'the Mad'.
