6 paper partbooks (D-82 folios, A-66, T-69, B-69, Q-46, S-78), 145 x 200 (S book measures 155 x 205). No foliation or pagination. Main layer has original ink numbering of pieces, 1-32; last four pieces unnumbered. Each book has section of folios (D-32, A-13, T-17, B-22, Q-3, S-52) which are blank, or have blank staves only. Original covers of parchment cut from liturgical manuscript, inscribed with voice designations. Original index at beginning of each book lists motets of main layer, in order of appearance, with attributions. Main layer copied by three scribes; later additions by three different scribes, including Torstenius Rhyacander, who copied B. Cellarius Mass. Some small inked initials.
