General Description

A Discantus partbook from a set originally of five volumes. Copied by many scribes. Copied in Kraków, for use by the Rorist chapel of Wawel Cathedral. Taken to Vienna following World War I, but returned to Kraków c. 1920.

3 paper partbooks of an original 5 (D-i + 185 + i folios, A-i + 190 + i, B-i + 183 + i), ca. 160 x 200. PozU s.s. is T book from same set; Q book lost. Modern foliation in each book. Original covers of tooled leather. No index. Copied by many scribes. Staff height 15. Some plain inked initials; a few inked calligraphic initials.

Late 16th-early 17th century. Copied in Kraków, for use by the Rorist chapel of Wawel Cathedral. Taken to Vienna following World War I, but returned to Kraków ca. 1920.

In heading and physical description, change "PozU s.s." to "PozU 192."
