[Translation] 16th century; 217 parchment sheets, 640 x 500 mm. Foliation of f. 1-226 (9 leaves missing). Up to 12 five-line systems per page with Gothic choral notation with some mensural elements. Binding: dated 1580, with white leather covered wooden cover, blind tooling, fittings.
This manuscript antiphonal was written in 1562 at the latest for the convent of S. Sepulchri in Miechów . The manuscript may date from the very late 15th Century, in which case the first leaf, dated 1562, must have been added later. The three polyphonic pieces include the Christmas liturgy. Noteworthy is the naming of the Superius after the Disciples.
