RISM Description

RISM B IV/4: 15./16. Jh.; 232 Blätter Pergament, 383 x 281 mm. Moderne Bleistfoliierung von f. 1.232 und originale Foliierung von f. IV-CLVI. Je Seite 12 Vierliniensysteme mit gotischer Choralnotation und von f. 229-232 auch primitiver weißer Mensuralnotation. - Einband: moderner Lederband.

Diese aus dem Mistum Utrecht und wahrscheinlich aus Nord-Holland stammende, der Pfarrkirche Enkhuizen gehörende Handschrift ist ein Graduale des ausgehenden 15. Jh. mit mehrstimmigen Nachträgen in Einzelstimmen-Notation aus dem frühen 16. Jh.

232 parchment folios, 383 x 281. Original foliation, IV-CLVI; modern pencil foliation, 1-232. Modern leather covers. No index. The four polyphonic pieces are written in square black and primitive white mensural notation on the last folios (228-232') of this Gradual.

Gradual was copied in the 15th century; polyphonic pieces added in early 16th century. Originated in northern Holland, in the diocese of Utrecht; belonged to the parish church in Enkhuizen.
