Composite of several originally separate manuscripts later bound together. Polyphony on ff. 41-41', 54'-57', 59-66, 71-75, 77'-78, 93-93', 97'-98, and 121'. Music copied by several scribes. Copied in Low Countries, for use by religious house associated with Augustinian monastery at Windesheim.

RISM B IV/4: 15./16. Jh.; 139 Blätter Papier, 147 x 108 mm. Moderne Bleistiftfoliierung von f. 1-139. Je Seite, soweit Musik, 5-12 Vierlinien- oder 2-6 Fünfliniensysteme (f. 55-70, 121v) mit gotischer Choralnotation und weißer Mensuralnotation - Einband: Doppelter Pergament-Umschlag (beschädigt).

Diese von sehr verschiedenen Händen geschriebene und aus 8 Quaternionen bestehende Handschrift stammt aus dem Kreise des Windsheimer Klosters. Sie wurde, wie eine Eintragung auf f. 84v zeigt, um 1500 geschrieben.

Inhalt: f. 1-18 Anweisungen zum Psalmengesang, Sequenzen unter anderem; f. 19-40 Sermones; f. 41-54 ein- und zweistimmige Marienlieder und marian. Antiphonen; f. 55-78 zweistimmige, lateinische Kantionen; f. 79-85 Texte ohne Musik; f. 91-104 Kantionen, Sanctustropen; f. 105-121 Hymnen, Sequenzen unter anderem; f. 122-138 Responsorien. - Leer sind f. 69, 70, 86-90, 95-97, 100-104, 107, 109, 110, 112, 115-121, 139.

15-16. Century; 139 sheets of paper, 147 x 108 mm. Modern pencil foliation of f. 1-139. Per side, as far as music, four lines 5-12 or 2-6 five-line systems (f. 55-70, 121v) with Gothic choir and white mensural notation - Binding: Double-parchment envelope (damaged).

This manuscript, written by quite different hands and consisting of 8 quarterly sections, stems from the Circle of Windsheimer Monasteries. It (the manuscript) was written around 1500, as an entry on f.84v shows.
