The latter part of the manuscript contains a copy of Robert Grosseteste's Le Château d'amours, beginning at f. 228v. . The only polyphonic work is De sainte Leochade, la virge (incipit as GautierS) on f. 103v-104.

yellow-brown mottled paper covers over pulp boards; the spine is of parchment and bears the gilt title 'Vie de N.D.' The ribbed paper flyleaves at each end belong to this binding.

RISM B/IV 1: A 13th century parchment manuscript meas. 241 x 162 mm. and containing 240 folios + 1 blank unnumbered ribbed paper flyleaf each end belonging to the 19th century binding of yellow-brown mottled paper covers over pulp boards; the spine is of parchment and bears the gilt title "Vie de N.D." The foliation is a 19th century pencil one at t.r.r. The latter part of the manuscript contains a copy of Robert Grosseteste's Le Château d'amours, beginning at f. 228v. There are no initials after this page. The stamp of the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris still appears on f. 1 and 240. The only polyphonic work is De sainte Leochade, la virge (incipit as GautierS) on f. 103v-104. The square unmeasured notation is generally on red four-line staves, though the staves for the upper voice sometimes consist of five lines. Single notes are often breve shapes.
