A single flyleaf from a 12th century Tonary, which has come from MS Cgm. 30: a 15th century copy of a Bavarian civil code dated 1346 which originated in the Premonstratensian Abbey of Schaftlarn. The flyleaf differs from the 5 cases of fragments and several envelopes which make up MS lat. 29164. his fragment 14a and another, 14b, also from MS Cgm. 30, have distinguishing signatures. 14b contains 2 Venite. 14a is generally not notated, though it has 13 red four-line staves per page written in two columns. The polyphonic piece is a mere jotting, consisting of two parts in minute 14th century Gothic neumes, some of them like dots, written on a single four-line stave without clefs. It is a more or less note-against-note setting of the words Gloria patri et filio. Preceding the Gloria patri are some more pronounced Gothic neumes to the incipits O crux and 0 gloriosum, etc. This is presumably the recto side of the page. On the verso are a few more primitive square notes, for Puer natus est, etc.
