General Description

A choirbook, copied for the Court Chapel. Original title plate on front flyleaf: "Dierum quadragesimalium Liber primus, Authore. Math: Le Maistre". Contains Proprium settings for Lent, complementary to those in MS 27 (although this was originally the first volume).

Copied by the same scribe as MS 27, identified here as Mattheus Le Maistre.
