Binding
Covers of medium brown leather over boards, blind tooled with decorative borders and central diamond motif; brass clasps, studs, and bosses. Covers date from 18th century (LlorCS), but decoration imitates earlier style; see VatS 13 for other manuscripts with similar bindings.

Les ff. limin., 12v, 13, 26v, 27, 36v, 37, 50v, 51, 62v, 63, 76v, 77, 89v, 90, 101v, 102, 114v, 115, 125v, 126, 129v, 130 sont blancs. Notation mesurée blanche. 10 portées par p. Au f. limin. [2]: Tabula hujus libri. Capitales ornées en coul. Reliure du XVIIIe s. cuir avec fermoir et bouillons de métal. Certaines lectures restent difficiles par suite du mauvais état du ms.
Comme le Ms. 16, celui-ci a été compilé sous le pontificat de Léon X (1513-1521) dont on trouve plusieurs fois l'effigie dans le ms. et comme le confirme au f. 11 le titre: «Vivat Leo X.» Il est probable que les enluminures des initiales sont l'oeuvre de Vincent Raymond qui commença, semble-t-il, son activité romaine à la cour de Léon X.
